Fort Wayne, IN : Motorcyclist suffers life-threatening injuries after State Boulevard crash on Thursday, 26th December, 2019

A motorcyclist was fighting for his life Thursday night after a crash just north of downtown Fort Wayne.

Police didn't know why the man lost control of the motorcycle near the intersection of East State Boulevard and Terrace Road just west of Clinton Street, the Fort Wayne Police Department said in a news release.

The single-vehicle crash happened about 6:50 p.m.

The motorcyclist, whose identity was not released, was taken to a hospital in life-threatening condition, police said.

Nobody else was injured.
