A woman and two children were seriously injured after their vehicle flipped in York County Monday.
The wreck happened on Lincoln Road near Walnut Farm Road in York around 4:12 p.m. Police say 37-year-old Tracy Clinton was driving a 1999 Ford Expedition when she ran off the roadway, overcorrected and flipped. The vehicle then rolled before coming to a stop in a wooded area just off the road.
Clinton and one child were airlifted, and another child taken by ambulance, to Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. Their conditions have not been released. Police said one of the children was partially ejected from the vehicle.
From WBTV's Sky 3, a silver SUV could be seen just off the roadway in a wooded area. The vehicle appeared to be heavily damaged. Two medical helicopters, as well as police, medic and fire, could be seen at the crash site.
Police say Clinton is being charged with driving with a suspended license and going too fast.
