Merrimack County, NH: SUV Loses Control of Trailer Full of Cement Blocks on I-93 on Monday, July 20th 2015

A man was cited today after a crash on the northbound side of I-93 in Hooksett, according to New Hampshire State Police.At a little after 1 p.m. on July 20, 2015, state police as well as Hooksett Police and Fire and Rescue teams were sent to the rollover crash near Exit 10.The 40-year-old man from Manchester was cited for negligent driving after losing control of his 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe that was hauling a trailer full of concrete blocks.“The vehicle and trailer spun out and rolled off the paved portion of the interstate into the right hand shoulder,” according to Sgt. Steven Callinan of the NHSP.I-93 north was down to two lanes for about an hour and a half while the crash scene was cleared, according to a report. The driver was transported to Catholic Medical Center with minor injuries.Assisting at the scene was Hooksett Fire Department, New Hampshire DOT, Hooksett Police Department, Troopers from State Police Troop G and Eastern Towing, according to the report.
