Las Vegas, NV : 2 injured, 1 critically, in rollover crash on U.S. 95 in east Las Vegas on Friday evening, July 15, 2016
Two people were injured, one critically, in a rollover crash Friday evening in the east valley.
Nevada Highway Patrol responded to a rollover crash on northbound U.S. Highway 95 and Flamingo Road around 5:30 p.m., trooper Jason Buratczuk said.
When the red Dodge SUV rolled over, it came to rest in the left travel lane. One person was ejected from the vehicle, and the other was trapped underneath the vehicle, Buratczuk said.
A female was taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center in critical condition. At this time it is unclear if she was the person who was ejected from the vehicle or the one trapped underneath the vehicle, Buratczuk said.
The second victim was also taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, but that person’s condition is unknown at this time.
The highway patrol’s accident investigation team is investigating the crash. The left travel lane will be shut down for at least an hour, Buratczuk said.
As of about 7:30 p.m., the left northbound travel lane was shut down because of the crash.
