Wabaunsee County, KS : Hesston man dead after crash on I-70, just west of Topeka on Thursday, May 19, 2016
A Hesston man died Thursday after his car crashed in Wabaunsee County.
Bradner Gilson was westbound on Interstate 70 about 7:45 p.m. when his Hyundai Elantra drifted off the right side of the roadway. The car went into the ditch and struck a concrete wall under I-70 on Frontage Road about 5 miles west of Maple Hill near mile marker 338, according the Kansas Highway Patrol.
Gilson, 76, was transported to Stormont Vail Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
