Bellingham, WA : Man seriously injured in rollover crash on Mount Baker Highway on Wednesday, September 20th 2017

A Wisconsin man was seriously injured in a rollover crash Wednesday morning on Mount Baker Highway, authorities said.

Washington State Patrol Trooper Heather Axtman said Colin T. Theobald of Sheboygan veered off the road and hit a dirt embankment on eastbound Mount Baker Highway, near milepost 22, east of Highway 9.

Axtman said Theobald, 42, was intubated and taken by ambulance to St. Joseph hospital after the 10:45 a.m. wreck. Intubation is when a device is inserted into a patient’s throat to assist breathing.

A hospital official had no information on Theobald’s condition Wednesday afternoon.
