Eight people — including six children — were hurt in a school bus crash on the Long Island Expressway in Queens Wednesday, authorities said.
The bus and two BMWs collided in a “domino effect” on the LIE near the Brooklyn Queens Expressway at about 8:15 a.m., police said.
The driver of a black BMW missed the exit for the BQE and stopped to go in reverse when he was rear-ended by a white BMW, cops said. A school bus then rear-ended the white BMW.
Two adults and six children were injured. Six people — one of whom was seriously hurt — were taken Elmhurst Hospital Center, cops said.
