West Chester, PA : Pa. township official killed in parking lot crash in West Chester on Wednesday afternoon, August 13, 2014

Police say a township supervisor was struck and killed in a supermarket parking lot outside Philadelphia. West Goshen Township Supervisor Robert S. White was hit by a pickup truck in the parking lot of a ShopRite in West Chester on Wednesday afternoon. Police say he was pronounced dead at Chester County Hospital. White had been a township supervisor since 1992. He's survived by his wife and two sons. Police say the driver of the truck that hit White is cooperating.
