One person was freed from a van after a crash on the northbound Blue Route in Broomall, Delaware County.

The view from Chopper 6 HD Friday morning showed a white van off to the side of I-476 and tire marks in the ground leading up to the accident scene.

Emergency crews rescued one person from the vehicle.

It appears the driver of the van lost control, veered off the highway, and crashed into a tree then a barrier wall.
The accident occurred around 6:30 a.m.

Traffic was backed up during the morning rush on the Blue Route approaching Villanova.
