Spring Hill, FL : Michigan man killed in a single vehicle crash in Spring hill on State Road 50 near Oregon Chickadee Road on Friday afternoon, February 6, 2015

A Michigan man died Friday afternoon when his car crashed into a tree in Spring Hill, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

According to FHP, a 2012 Chevrolet Impala driven by Bruce H. Sander, 50, of Hazel Park, Mich., was westbound on State Road 50 near Oregon Chickadee Road about 5:05 p.m. when, for unknown reasons, the vehicle went onto the north shoulder and struck a tree.

Sander was taken to Oak Hill Regional Hospital, where he died of his injuries, FHP said.
