Authorities say an elderly man has died after a semitrailer struck his car while he was pulling out of a driveway in rural Scott County. The Scott County Sheriff's Office says 84-year-old William Flenker of Long Grove was hit on Sunday. Authorities say he was pulling out of the private driveway when the semitrailer struck the driver side of his vehicle. Flenker was taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.
