Phoenix, AZ : Motorcycle rider taken to hospital after collision with vehicle at the intersection of 29th Avenue and Greenway Road on Thursday, 13th February, 2020

A motorcycle rider was taken to a hospital in extremely critical condition after colliding with another vehicle Thursday in Phoenix, police said.

The collision at about 11:30 a.m. caused a closure at the intersection of 29th Avenue and Greenway Road for investigation, according to Phoenix police.

Police advised drivers to avoid the area and use an alternate route.

There were no immediate details on the cause of the collision.
