North Fort Myers, FL : Pedestrian injured in North Fort Myers crash on Bayshore Road and Hart Road on Wednesday, August 13, 2014

A woman was taken to the hospital after being struck by a vehicle in North Fort Myers. It happened on Bayshore Road and Hart Road at around 9:32 p.m. According to North Fort Myers Fire officials, a woman was taken to Lee Memorial Hospital for traumatic injuries after being hit by the vehicle. The driver of the vehicle was still on scene when authorities arrived. The eastbound lanes of Bayshore Road were shut down, but have since been reopened.
