Severn, MD : Va. man killed in Severn accident Friday afternoon on September 26, 2014

A Virginia man was killed Friday afternoon when his car was struck head on by another vehicle on Ridge Road in Severn, police said. Ki Sung Lee, 29, of Fredericksburg, was taken to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center where he died of his injuries. Shortly before 3:30 p.m., Lee was northbound on Ridge near Galetown Drive when a 2009 Audi Q7 SUV driven by a 73-year-old Hanover woman failed to negotiate a curve in the road, according to Anne Arundel County Police. The SUV crossed the centerline and struck Lee's 2004 Kia Optima, police said. The Audi driver and a passenger, a 67-year-old woman from Cincinnati, were also taken to Shock Trauma with what police described as non-life threatening injuries.
