Easton ,MA : 26-year-old Luke Anderson charged and trooper injured after crashing into state police cruiser on Monday ,June 1st 2015

A 26-year-old man has been charged with operating under the influence of alcohol after authorities say he crashed into a state police cruiser in Easton.

State police say the marked cruiser was stopped at a traffic light Monday night when it was rear-ended by a car driven by 26-year-old Luke Anderson.

The trooper was injured in the crash, and was taken to a hospital for treatment.

Anderson was arrested at the scene. The Brockton man was charged with operating under the influence of alcohol and operating to endanger.

The name of the trooper was not immediately released.
