WESTMINSTER, SC : Tractor-trailer carrying chickens crashes shuts down Upstate highway on Monday, 6th May 2024

Highway Patrol said a tractor-trailer carrying chickens crashed and caused a highway in Westminster to shut down Monday morning.
According to Highway Patrol, the incident happened at around 7:30 a.m. on US 123 near Hopewell Church Road.
Officials said the truck was traveling north on 123 and took the turn too fast causing it to overturn on its side and run off the road. The vehicle then hit a guardrail.
An official on scene said the driver was not hurt, however, many of the chickens died.
