Newfields ,NH : 22- Years old Joshua Bruckner injured after serious accident on Friday night, June 5th 2015

An Exeter man had to be extricated from a car and airlifted to a Boston hospital after a serious accident in Newfields Friday night.

New Hampshire State Police say Joshua Bruckner, 22, was driving south on State Route 85 in Newfields, New Hampshire, at about 6:40 p.m. As he approached the Exeter, New Hampshire, town line, police say Bruckner failed to negotiate a curve in the road. Bruckner reportedly lost control of the car, which slid sideways off the road and hit a utility pole.

Emergency crews had to use the Jaws of Life to get Bruckner out of the car. He was flown by Med-Flight to Beth Israel Deaconess Emergency Room in Boston, Massachusetts, with serious injuries.

The Newfields Police Department, Newfields Fire & Rescue Department, New Hampshire Department of Transportation, and Eversource Energy Company all responded to the scene of the crash.
