CHESAPEAKE, VA : Driver arrested after woman, 19, killed in I-664 crash in Chesapeake on Monday, 19th February 2024

An 18-year-old driver is facing multiple charges after a crash on Interstate 664 in Chesapeake on Monday ended a 19-year-old woman's life, Virginia State Police (VSP) said.

In a release on Wednesday, VSP announced Elvis Cruz of Portsmouth was arrested for reckless driving, failure to maintain proper control, causing death and having no valid driver's license, inspection or proof of insurance.
