INDIANAPOLIS, IN : 71-year-old man struck, killed along Michigan Road on Indy's northwest side on Monday, 17th June 2024

An investigation is underway after a crash on Indianapolis' northwest side killed a pedestrian Monday night.

The crash happened just before 11 p.m. June 17 on North Michigan Road at Depauw Boulevard, which is just south of Interstate 465.

An IMPD spokesperson said two people were walking across Michigan Road when one of them was struck by a vehicle. The victim was wearing dark clothing and wasn't seen by the driver until the crash, according to police.
