Erie, PA : Two women injured in a two-vehicle crash in west Erie on Thursday evening, May 19, 2016
Two women were injured Thursday evening in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of West 26th and Sassafras streets, police said.
The crash, which involved a Chevy Malibu and a Pontiac Grand Am, was reported at 6 p.m.
The injured women were in the Malibu, which was eastbound on West 26th Street, police said.
The Grand Am was heading south on Sassafras Street when the vehicles collided in the intersection, police said.
One woman was taken to Saint Vincent Hospital and the other was taken to UPMC Hamot. Their injuries were not life-threatening, authorities said.
