KANSAS CITY, MO : Driver dies after Kansas City collision following Independence Police chase on Saturday, 18th May 2024

One person has died following a three-vehicle collision near the Sun Fresh Market in Kansas City as the result of a chase that started in Independence.

Just after 2:15 p.m. on Saturday, May 18, the Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department says it was notified by the Independence Police Department that a pursuit had entered city limits.

Police said they had been in pursuit of a white Chevrolet Z71 pickup truck headed west on 31st St. However, near 31st and Wabash, the truck hit a black Audi Q5 headed east.
