CLINTON, CT : 2 killed in wrong-way crash on I-95 in Connecticut on Wednesday, 25th November, 2020

Two people were killed early Wednesday when their wrong-way SUV slammed into a tractor-trailer on Interstate 95 in Connecticut, state police said.
Olger Armijos, 35, and Heraldo Solano, 41, were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which happened around 2 a.m. in Clinton, police said. Both men were from nearby New Haven, about 22 miles (35.4 kilometers) west of the crash site.
The driver of the tractor-trailer, 43-year-old Java Melvin, refused medical attention, police said.
The crash closed the southbound lanes of the highway for several hours between exits 63 and 64. The road was reopened around 8 a.m.
