MERIDEN, CT : Meriden man killed in crash off I-691 that closed park on Saturday, 4th November 2023

A 19-year-old man from Meriden was killed when the vehicle he drove rolled off a highway exit ramp and into the wooded area next to a soccer field.

State police identified the victim as Benjamin Erick Morales.

All activities at Kronenberger Park were canceled and the park was closed following the Saturday afternoon crash.

The park has since reopened.
