Owensboro,KY : One person confirmed dead in crash on December, Thursday 14th 2017

One person was confirmed dead Thursday evening, and at least one other person was taken to the hospital after a semitrailer collided with a pickup truck on U.S. 60 East in far eastern Daviess County.

The collision occurred at 5:08 p.m. near the 29 mile marker on U.S. 60 East near Kentucky 334, west of Kelly Cemetery Road, when a semitrailer collided with a pickup truck. Daviess County Fire Chief Dwane Smeathers said when the vehicles collided, the cab of the semitrailer caught fire.
