Cookeville, TN : A man was injured in the Waterloo Road and Highway 136 crash on Thursday, 26th April 2018

A man who was injured in the Waterloo Road and Highway 136 crash last week succumbed to his injuries.

George Knauer, 71, of Livingston, was a passenger in one of the vehicles involved in the crash. Tennessee Highway Patrol said he passed away from his injuries.

The report also states charges are pending with an investigation.

In another wreck Friday morning, a Crossville woman was killed after her car ran off the roadway on I-40 westbound in Putnam County.

The report names Krista Brock, 36, as the driver and deceased.

According to the report, Brock was in the left lane when her car went off the right side of the road into an embankment and hit many trees.

The report states Brock passed away on the scene.

The passenger, Deborah Heminway, was injured in the incident.
