Dixon, CA : Esparto man dies in A crash on the 7600 block of Pitt School Road on Monday, August 15, 2016

An early morning incident Monday on the 7600 block of Pitt School Road killed a 71-year-old Esparto resident.

A call came into the Solano County Sheriff’s Office about 6:15 a.m. reporting that a worker had been hit by a vehicle on private property. CPR was done on Salvador Del Torro-Magna but he died at the scene, the Sheriff’s Office reported.

The incident remains under investigation. Foul play is not suspected, said Detective Carrie Hollar with the Sheriff’s Office.

Cal-OSHA is also investigating the accident, she said.
