Delaware Township, OH : Delaware man dies in one-car crash on Monday, October 13, 2014

A Delaware man was pronounced dead at the scene of a one-vehicle crash Monday, Oct. 13, in Delaware Township. Ohio Highway Patrol troopers responded to a report of a crash that occurred shortly before 1:45 p.m. Oct. 13 on Kingsbury Road. After arriving at the scene, troopers discovered Bennet M. Gooding, 21, of Delaware had died after being ejected from a car, according to a news release from the highway patrol. Gooding was driving the car, which went off the north side of Kingsbury Road before flipping and coming to rest in a nearby yard, according to the release. An adult passenger in the vehicle was taken to Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus after the crash with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the patrol.
