ESCAMBIA COUNTY, FL : 61-year-old bicyclist killed in wreck at Pace Boulevard intersection in Escambia County on Wednesday, 21st August 2024

A 61-year-old Pensacola man is dead after a pickup truck crashed with a bicyclist Wednesday afternoon in Escambia County.

It happened around 1:15 p.m. at the intersection of W Jordan Street and N Pace Blvd.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, the crash occurred between an 83-year-old Pensacola man in a pickup truck and the 61-year-old bicyclist.

The bicyclist was pronounced dead on scene.
