Manchester, N.H : Four Injured, one Seriously, When Car Crashes into Friendly’s Restaurant on Thursday afternoon, July 31, 2014

Thursday afternoon a car crashed into a Friendly’s restaurant in Manchester, New Hampshire.

Four people were taken to area hospitals after the car barreled into the main entrance. A male employee suffered serious leg injuries, a customer at the ice cream window, the driver and a passenger in the car also suffered unspecified injuries.

“It was like a boom, everyone was like ‘did that really just happen?’ It was the glass that was a lot I think, it was like a door slam,” Caitlyn Shafer, one of the customers inside the restaurant, said.

The restaurant was closed after the crash, which police say occurred at 3:30 p.m., and the manager said they are aiming to reopen this weekend.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
