Paintsville,KY : U.S. 23 wreck claims woman’s life on October, Wednesday 11th 2017

An early morning crash Wednesday on U.S. 23 claimed the life of a Floyd County woman.

Judith Brown, 60, of Prestonsburg, was driving north on U.S. 23 in her white 2011 Toyota Camry when her vehicle veered across the median and southbound lanes and struck the rock embankment wall, according to Johnson County Sheriff’s Deputy Terry Tussey. He ruled out weather or distracted driving as a cause of the wreck.
