Sanborn, WI : One dead in a single vehicle crash on Highway 2 near Johnson Road on Tuesday morning, May 24, 2016

The Ashland County Sheriff's Office has identified an 18-year-old woman from Milwaukee as the victim in a single vehicle crash overnight.

Authorities say Hannah Cumbajin, a student at Northland College, was found inside the vehicle on Highway 2 near Johnson Road just after 12:30 Tuesday morning.

Cumbajin was the only person found in the vehicle, and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities say she was wearing a seat belt.

No word yet on the nature of the crash or what led to it.
