Gorst, WA : One person dead and two others injured in 4-vehicle crash near Gorst in Kitsap County on Thursday morning, Nov 19, 2015

The Washington State Patrol says 71-year-old man died and two others were injured in four-vehicle crash near the Kitsap County city of Gorst.

The patrol says a 30-year-old Fircrest man was booked into Kitsap County Jail on investigation of vehicular homicide and driving under the influence. He was injured in the crash.

Delyle E. Machacek was killed in the accident Thursday morning.

The state patrol says the 30-year-old driver was driving his Ford Ranger pickup truck south on Highway 3 where it becomes eastbound Highway 16.

Machacek, who was driving a Kia, was pulling out of a gas station when he was rear-ended by the pickup. The Kia lost control, crossed the median and was struck by two other vehicles.

A 56-year-old Ollalla woman was also injured and taken to a local hospital.
