A Florida man was killed in a car accident on Hwy. 27 Sunday morning. Trooper Gary Snow investigated the crash for the Tennessee Highway Patrol. The deceased was identified as 82-year-old Henry Grandon Howard of Casselberry, Fla.

The report said his Toyota Corolla was rear-ended by a Dodge pickup truck driven by Jeffrey D. Walters of Rockwood.
