Columbus, OH : One person dead and two people injured in a head-on crash involving a pickup truck and SUV on S. High Street on Wednesday, December 30, 2015

Authorities say a head-on crash involving a pickup truck and sport utility vehicle in Columbus has left one person dead and two people injured.

The Columbus Dispatch reports the wreck occurred around 4:45 p.m. Wednesday. Investigators say the SUV crossed the center line and collided with the pickup truck.

Fire officials say the man behind the wheel of the SUV was pronounced dead at the scene. Two people injured in the pickup have been transported to OhioHealth Grant Medical Center. It's unclear what their conditions are.

Authorities didn't immediately identify the victims.
