Woman struck, killed while crossing Clairemont

The Medical Examiner's Office Sunday publicly named the woman who was struck and killed while crossing Clairemont Mesa Boulevard Friday night.
Sarah Ann Hudson, 25, of San Diego was walking southbound across the eastbound lanes near Doliva Drive about 10:40 p.m. Friday, when she entered the path of an eastbound Ford Escape driven by a 38-year-old man, according to the San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office and San Diego police.
Witnesses to the crash called for help, but paramedics pronounced Hudson dead at the scene, authorities said.
The motorist was not cited or arrested, according to San Diego police Officer David Stafford, who said no enforcement would be taken on the accident.
