Oklahoma City,OK : 1 dead, 3 hospitalized after crash during police pursuit in northwest OKC on may, Saturday 20th 2017

One person died and three others were seriously injured Saturday night when their vehicle crashed while being pursued by Oklahoma City police officers.

Police attempted to pull over the vehicle around 11:30 p.m. near Northwest 10th Street and North Western Avenue after the driver ran a traffic light, officials said. The vehicle sped off, and police pursued.

The officers lost sight of the vehicle at one point and later found it crashed out near a person's front yard near Northwest 30th Street and North Hudson Avenue, officials said.

A passenger in a back seat was pronounced dead at the scene. Three other people were taken to an area hospital in critical condition.
