LIBERTY, IL : Two injured in Liberty crash on Ill. 104 just north of State Street on Friday, 31st August 2018

Two people suffered serious injuries in a crash Friday morning in Liberty.

The Adams County Sheriff's Department said deputies were called at 7:19 a.m. for a report of a two-car crash on Ill. 104 just north of State Street.

Deputies reported that a 2008 Jeep Wrangler driven by Curtis R. Harmon, 32, of Liberty, crossed the center line and struck a 1992 Ford pickup truck driven by Alexa N. Jagerson, 18, of Madrid, Iowa.

Jagerson was extricated from the vehicle and taken to Blessing Hospital for treatment. A passenger in her vehicle, Wayne E.L. Walton, 23, also was taken to Blessing for treatment of serious injuries.

Harmon did not report any injuries. He was cited for improper lane usage.

Assisting at the scene were the Adams County Ambulance Service, the Central Adams Fire Department and the Liberty Fire Department.
