Darwin, MN : 16-year-old boy injured after one-vehicle crash in Darwin Township on Monday morning, July 25, 2016

A 16-year-old boy was airlifted to the Hennepin County Medical Center after his vehicle left the road and crashed Monday morning.

The Meeker County Sheriff's Office says Cole Cochran, of Darwin, had been driving in the 68000 block of 237th St. in Darwin Township at the time of the crash.

Just before 9 a.m., his vehicle left the road and entered a ditch, striking several trees.

He was immediately transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital before being airlifted to HCMC.

The Dassel Fire Department, Rescue Squad, and Gold Cross Ambulance assisted the sheriff's office on the scene.
