Wausau,WI : Mercer woman killed in morning crash on January, Sunday 28th 2018

A 45-year-old Mercer woman is dead following a two-vehicle crash on U.S. 51, near Iron County CC, early Sunday morning.

Tracy L. Niehaus was driving her 2014 Toyota Corolla south on U.S. 51 when it crossed the center line and hit a 2006 Pontiac Vibe driven by Ryan L. Eilo, 32, of Montreal, at 2:56 a.m. Sunday, according to the Wisconsin State Patrol.

Niehaus died at the scene, according to the state patrol. Elio was transported to Aspirus Ironwood Hospital in Ironwood, Michigan, with nonlife-threatening injuries.
