Monroe, CT : Forrest Ryan, 24, killed in motorcycle accident on Main Street on Monday, June 13, 2016

A Monroe motorcyclist has died following a collision with a Land Rover on Main Street, police said in a release.

Forrest Ryan, 24, of Monroe, was riding a Harley Davidson when he crossed over the center line and was struck by a Land Rover, according to the release.

He was not wearing a helmet and suffered fatal injuries from the collision, police said. Two occupants of the Land Rover were transported to St. Vincent's Medical Center for medical evaluation.

The street was closed for several hours while police investigated, and the crash remains under investigation.
