Tucson, AZ : 42-year-old Andres Pino died after motorcycle crash into south-side home on Monday, March 30, 2015

A man died on Monday after crashing his motorcycle into a home on the south side.

Officer Kristopher Goins tells KGUN9 that 42-year-old Andres Pino was assisting his brother with repairs on the motorcycle in the 900 block of West Wedwick.

Police said Pino then got on the motorcycle and proceeded westbound on Wedwick at a high rate of speed. The motorcycle struck a slanted curb and then rode through the front door of a residence.

Pino proceeded through the house and crashed into a sliding glass door.

None of the occupants in the residence were injured, said police.

Pino was pronounced dead at the scene.

TPD determined speed was a factor in the collision and Pino was not wearing a helmet.
