Motorcyclist dies in accident on Highway 36 in

A motorcyclist from Wildwood was killed Sunday in a head-on crash in Warren County, police say.Robert B. Putney, 57, died in the crash on Highway B, about a half-mile north of Missouri Highway 94, police say.The Missouri Highway Patrol said Putney was driving a Honda NC700 motorcycle south on Highway B at about 10:45 a.m. Sunday when he crossed the center line on a curve. He hit a northbound Toyota Camry head-on.Police say Putney was thrown from the motorcycle. The county coroner pronounced Putney dead at the scene at 11:45 a.m. He had been wearing a helmet, police say.The Camry was driven by Donald A. Hall, 42, of Wright City. The patrol said Hall was uninjured.
