Charlotte County, FL : One person is dead in a fatal crash between a motorcycle and a truck on Tuesday morning October 28th 2014

Florida Highway Patrol released information about Tuesday morning's fatal crash between a motorcycle and a truck. The victim's name is not being released but the victim is from Port Charlotte. The driver of the 2004 GMC truck who is from Lehigh Acres was not hurt. FHP reports the motorcycle was heading northbound on Harbor Boulevard about 11:20 a.m. as the truck was heading southbound on Harbor. As the two approached the 350 block, the truck started to turn into the driveway of the home there. The motorcycle tried to stop but the turned on its left side and hit the side of the truck. The motorcycle driver fell off and slide under the truck. Charges are pending the investigation, according to FHP. Source : Fatal crash on Harbor Blvd. in Charlotte County
