Single car crash killed 32 year old in northwest suburban Marengo

A 31-year-old man was killed this morning in a single-car crash in northwest suburban Marengo, said officials.

Quinn G. Gieseke of Woodstock was killed when his car crashed this morning on Menge Road, according to a news release from the McHenry County Coroner. Further details on the accident, including the specific time it occurred, were unavailable.

The preliminary cause of death was determined to be multiple blunt force trauma due to a motor vehicle crash, the release said.

The McHenry County Sheriff's Department Accident Investigation Division is investigating the cause of the crash.
