San Pedro ,CA : Crystal Jones, 34 killed in 110 Freeway crash was from Carson on Saturday night ,June 27th 2015

Authorities on Tuesday said a woman killed when her car crashed on an onramp to the 110 Freeway in San Pedro was from Carson.

Crystal Jones, 34, died at the scene of the weekend crash, said coroner’s Chief Craig Harvey. Authorities previously had said the victim was from Torrance.

The crash occurred about 11:15 p.m. Saturday on the Gaffey Street onramp to the northbound 110, the California Highway Patrol reported.

According to the CHP, Jones apparently failed to make a turn onto the onramp and her 2012 Ford Fusion hit the center median.
