MARION, OH : 72-year-old woman killed, 2-year-old child injured in Marion crash on Monday, 8th July 2024

A 72-year-old woman died after being struck by an SUV and a large truck in Marion on Monday.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the crash happened on Center Street near Chicago Avenue around 11:30 a.m.

OSHP says 72-year-old Linda Dowalter was on a sidewalk when the driver of a Ford Escape was pulling out of a residence and struck Showalter.
