Raynham, MA : Woman dies from injuries in Raynham crash on Saturday, 7th December, 2019
A woman was trapped in her car, stuck in the wreckage of a three-car crash in Raynham, police said.
Later, she was freed by firefighters, brought to the hospital and died there as a result of her injuries, according to the Police Department.
The fatal crash involving three vehicles took place at 7:30 p.m. in the area of 491 Broadway, Raynham police said. A man who was in the same vehicle as the woman was injured, police said.
Firefighters had to use hydraulic rescue tools to free a woman from the wreckage of a crash in Raynham, but the woman, who is not being identified by authorities as of Sunday morning died, from her injuries, Raynham police said. The woman was transported to Morton Hospital and pronounced dead, police said.
The man in the same vehicle as her suffered “serious injuries” and was transported to Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton, police said.
Several others who were in the two other vehicles involved in the crash were not injured, Raynham police said.
A picture of the scene shows one vehicle flipped over, the roof of the vehicle ripped apart. Bits and pieces of the auto body of vehicles involved in the crash remained at the scene on Sunday morning, along with a mailbox that was uprooted and thrown to the ground as a result of the crash.
