Little Rock,AR : Wrong-way driver sought after fatal I-30 crash in Little Rock on November, Saturday 4th 2017
Authorities are working to identify a wrong-way driver who died early Saturday in a fiery crash on Interstate 30 in Little Rock.
Arkansas State Police reported a 1999 Lincoln was traveling west in the eastbound lanes of I-30 near Interstate 530 when it ran off the highway and hit a tree. It happened about 1:20 a.m.
The Lincoln then caught on fire, burning "the vehicle and driver completely," according to a preliminary report.
The document lists the driver as John Doe and says the coroner's office will work to identify him.
No other injuries were reported.
Conditions at the time were said to be clear and dry.
The death is one of at least 430 in traffic crashes on Arkansas roads so far this year, according to preliminary figures.
