WASHINGTON, MO : Washington County fatal crash leaves 1 dead on Friday, 16th February 2024

A two-car crash left one man dead in Washington County Friday night.

Dispatchers got a call about the two-car crash after 7:30 p.m. Later, troopers with the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the scene on Missouri Route 21 about three miles north of Potosi and near Goldenrod Road.

According to the crash report, Douglas Andrea, 54, was driving a Ford Ranger traveling southbound on Missouri 21 when he lost control of his car due to icy roads. The Ford Ranger rotated counterclockwise and traveled into the northbound lane.
