At about 3:58 p.m., a green 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe driven by 57 year old Arnel D. Bolanos, 57, hit the bus on Egan Drive at the “McNugget” intersection of Egan Drive and Glacier Highway near McDonald’s and the Nugget Mall.

There were no reported injuries; Bolanos was cited for failure to maintain a safe distance. The Tahoe and bus each sustained approximately $2,000 in damage. The drivers exchanged information and both vehicles were operable and were able to drive away from the scene.
